You will need to prepare the following-

Cotton WoolBaby OilEmpty Container (preferably square)Cup of waterSo your workstation should look something like this-






Next, put small amount of baby oil into the first layer of cotton wool. Avoid putting too much or it will be very oily and greasy. But don't be too stingy else it will not be effective. The rule of thumb is that every piece of the cotton wool should have some baby oil in it.

To finish the first layer, after applying the baby oil, wet the cotton wool with water. Make sure the all the cotton wool is damp. But don't overdo it else you get a tsunami in your container. =)


Tada~ your first layer is completed. To finish the entire thing, just keep putting layer after layer. BUT, make sure you put the baby oil and water at every layer. Don't take shortcuts and put the baby oil and water at only the top layer and expect the oil to seep down to the lower layers.

You will get a super oily top layer and a super diluted lower layer. =)

Your end product should look something like this -


I know it look like some kueh or something. But after you finish with all the layers, remember to put the container into the fridge!!!

And tada! your make up removal supplies is finished!!! As a general rule, one actor will require around 5-10 pieces of the cotton wool to removal their makeup. Those with bigger faces (like me) or thicker make up will require more pieces to remove their make up.

So remember to bring your facial wash to school on monday for the make up class. =) Pls attend the lesson as it will be a professional make up artist (Shi Mu) that will be teaching us. CCA points will be awarded.
